The City of London has over 2000 years of history crammed into one square mile.

Join Alexandra Epps, Official Guide and Lecturer at Tate Modern, Tate Britain and Guildhall Art Gallery. Pallant House Gallery Lecturer. City Lit Institute Art History Tutor. Qualified Guide to the City of London and Lecturer, to explore some aspects of the arts within this unique square mile including:

The magical stained glass, created by remarkable artists and craftsmen, to be found within the City churches. Discover their symbolism, spiritual dimensions and radiant visual beauty. The wealth of intriguing modern and contemporary public art to found on the historic streets or nestling within the secret courtyards and tranquil gardens of the City.  From the intimate to the monumental - creations ranging from the hand crafted to the high tech. And finishing with a journey through artists’ many interpretations of the Thames.
